  • Visible shipping damages should be reported, please inform us by submitting us a Issue Report Form with photo via Issue Report Form within 14 days of receiving your product.

    Following that, our team will confirm the damage and assist with a free exchange or a refund!

    We take great care to ensure that the items we select are non-fragile, but occasionally damage may have occurred during shipping.

    We use Japan Post's EMS airmail service to get your items to you in the shortest possible time, and Japan Post's cargo holds are maintained at room temperature and are not subject to extreme highs and lows, but in the unlikely event that you find a problem with an item, please contact us so we can determine if it is the product itself or the shipping process. If you feel that there is a problem with the product, please contact us.

  • Before we send you the first bill for product cost and service fee, our team will first confirm with the seller if items are available. Sometimes, stock status in seller’s page is not accurate.

    However, due to time difference, from confirming stock availability to receipt of your payment, item may no longer be available, especially when your order includes fast moving items. Our customer service will inform you of the matter and will seek your advice whether we refund you for your payment or use the amount as credit for future purchase.

  • Returns and refunds will be administered in accordance with the "Returns & Refunds Policy".

    However, in some situations, local postal services may return your item to us due to unclaimed status, failure to pay import duties, customs, or other reasons.
    If that happens, we will contact you to determine if you wish to arrange reshipment or not.

    If you request reshipment, please note that items will be re-shipped in the same condition as they are returned to our store.

    Please note that all shipping fees associated with reshipment will be the customer's responsibility.

  • Customs Fees

    Some countries may require customers to pay import fees in order to receive their packages. Please consider any import fees you may be obligated to pay before placing an order at our store.

    Japanything unfortunately has no control over any fees/taxes levied by your country's government.

    Package Opened by Customs

    We are by law unable to undervalue shipments, all orders are marked as "Merchandise" with the full value of contents written on an invoice attached to the outside of the parcel. We are unfortunately unable to put invoice documents inside parcels, or ship orders without an invoice. Please be aware of the matter before placing any orders.


    Please note that some countries may require parcels to be opened for customs inspection. Our store cannot be held responsible for any actions taken by customs officials, and we are unable to provide compensation or replacements for any items lost, seized, or damaged during the inspection.

  • We offer shipment by EMS by Japan Post.

    It is the mandatory selected shipping option for our deliveries.

  • For the first order, we will ship as soon as it is ready.

    For subscription members, subsequent shipments will be dispatched on the same day of the month, one month after the initial order date.

    Estimated Delivery Time:

    Japanything orders are shipped straight from Japan and often arrive within 1-2 weeks.

    If you feel your order is taking too long to arrive (over 3 weeks for EMS), please have your parcel's tracking number and verify with your local post office regarding its arrival status.

    Your parcel may be awaiting delivery at the post office or in customs at the port of entry.

    Potential Delays occur during busy periods, such as holidays, and tracking updates may face delays as carriers manage increased loads.

  • To update my address

    1. Log in to your Japanything Account

    2. Select "Profile" → "Edit Address"

    *Note that changing your default address on "My account" does not update your existing orders or sweets-box subscriptions. For those who have been subscribed, go to "My Subscriptions" and correct your all relevant orders before your next package is shipped.

    3. Make sure you click the "Comfirm" of the changes

    Please notify us promptly with your order number, your name and the correct shipping address.
    If the order has already been shipped, upon its arrival at a local postal office in your country, please proceed with updating the shipping address and arrange for the item to be forwarded to the correct address.

    In the event that the item is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address, we will contact you to arrange for reshipment.

    Please note that all shipping fees associated with returns will be the customer's responsibility.

  • The cost is based on the item price in Japan, our service fee, option fee if requested and any domestic/international shipping fees.

    International shipping costs will vary depending on the weight, size, and destination. We’ll provide a full breakdown before you confirm your order.

  • If you choose not to accept the quotation, you may simply disregard it at no cost.

    In terms of 'cancellation' You can cancel your request before you've made the payment. Once the payment has been confirmed for your order, cancellations are not permitted. This is due to the personalized and time-sensitive nature of our service, where we immediately begin the procurement process on your behalf.

    If you have any concerns or special requests prior to payment confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options.

  • If the item you want is out of stock, we will respond in the manner you have indicated on the request form.

    You may choose;

    1. Consult with us and decide on an alternative product proposal

    2 Cancel your request for the corresponding product and get refund

    3. Cancel the entire order

  • Delivery times will vary depending on your location and the chosen shipping method. You’ll receive tracking information once your package is on its way.

  • We take great care in packaging your items securely to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Depending on the nature of the item, we may offer additional protective packaging options. Shipping is handled via most trusted and reliable international carriers JAPAN POST, with tracking available.

  • If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with photos of the damage via Issue Report Form. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue, either by sourcing a replacement or assisting with a refund.

SWEETS BOX

  • Each package comes with a card with QR cord which is a link to allergy information portal translated from the Japanese food labels.

    This lists the 9 Main Allergens based on FDA guidelines "Common Allergens" and also includes "Also Contain" information for other listed allergies.

    The term "Also Contains" used by Japanything means that 21 items that are equivalent to "Specified Raw Materials" in Japan are included in the product.
    The following ingredients are listed;

    FDA Common Allergen: Milk, Egg, Fish, Crustacean shellfish, Tree nuts, Wheat, Peanuts, Soy, Sesame

    Also Contains: Almonds, Abalone, Squid, Salmon roe, Oranges, Cashews, Kiwifruit, Beef, Walnuts, Sesame, Salmon, Mackerel, Soy, Chicken, Banana, Pork, Matsutake, Peach, Yam, Apple, Gelatin + Soba

    Additionally, the portal includes information about products containing alcohol or those recommended to be avoided for young children, as well as any special storage instructions required.

  • In Japan, the expiry date of snack items is indicated in the format "Year/Month/Day" First, please double-check for common mistakes to make sure.

    We take the utmost care in packaging, and make sure to check it with a human eye.

    If concerned about expired snacks, please submit clear photos and expiry dates via Issue Report Form

  • April Package → Order between April 1st 12:00AM (JST) - April 30th 11:59PM (JST)

    May Package → Order between May 1st 12:00AM (JST) - May 31st, 11:59PM (JST)

    11:59PM (JST) of the last day of the current month is the cutoff date to order the this month's package.

  • Our standard package size, including the signature box, is L29cm x W39cm x H10-15cm.

    The outer cardboard box is L42cm x W32cm x H18cm. The kids' gift bag is W400 x H600.

    We will deliver each package filled with so much deliciousness!

  • We charge Japan Post delivery fees according to the delivery area of 5 zones.

    Japanything determines the shipping fee according to the weight, and sets three patterns of shipping rates:
    (1.75 kg, 2.5 kg, 3 kg)

    For shipping costs to your country (zone), Please chack the Japan Post Rates and delivery days page.

  • For the first order, we will ship as soon as it is ready.

    For subscription members, subsequent shipments will be dispatched on the same day of the month, one month after the initial order date.

  • One-time purchase

    It is a "One-time payment" at the time of purchase.

    Subscriptions

    3 month plan and 6 month plan are "Pre-paid" in full at the first time of purchase.

  • Currently, our packages do not include complete options for vegan or gluten-free.

    Each confectionary is selected at random each month, so we cannot guarantee that the food in each package is vegan or gluten-free.

    However, we are continually listening to our customers' demands and making every attempt to offer new items and solutions.

CAPSULE TOY

  • Japanything’s Capsule Toy service allows you to enjoy the thrill of Japanese capsule machines from anywhere in the world! Simply add cart which type of capsule toy you’re interested in, and we will spin the machines on your behalf, delivering the surprise capsule toys straight to your door!

  • The cost includes the price of the capsule toy spins, service and shipping fee.

    The total amount will be displayed on the payment screen after adding to cart, so please check there.

  • Unfortunately, no. Since capsule toy is random by nature, you never know exactly which item you’ll get, making it an exciting surprise!

  • You can spin MAX 10 times from the same capsule machine and 40 times by total add-on cart. Keep in mind that capsule toys are random, so you may receive duplicates.

  • If the specific machine is unavailable, we’ll let you know right away. You can either choose another series for alternative or request a refund.

  • Since capsule toys are dispensed randomly, there’s a chance you might receive duplicates even if you request multiple spins.

    Unfortunately, we can’t control this, but duplicates can make great gifts or trade items with fellow collectors!

  • After we collect your toys from the capsule machine, we carefully package them for international shipping. Depending on your location and the chosen shipping method, delivery times may vary, but you’ll receive a tracking number to follow the shipment.

  • Cancellation

    Cancellations cannot be accepted once payment has been confirmed. Please be sure of your selections before placing your order, as all sales are final.

    Return & Refund

    Returns and refunds will be issued for items in the condition specified in the Returns and Refunds Policy.
