To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the collaboration between the globally beloved "Kirby of the Stars" and Kyoto’s traditional confectionery brand Tsuruya Yoshinobu, the popular “Kirby’s Round DIY Monaka” has been renewed with new flavors! Sales begin on Friday, November 15, at select stores.

This collaboration brings together the adorable, round, pink Kirby with Tsuruya Yoshinobu’s artisanal touch to create a delightful and fun wagashi (Japanese confection). The treat features Kirby’s face in a crispy monaka shell that you can fill with as much of the carefully crafted sweet red bean paste as you like, just like Kirby’s signature “inhale anything” ability! Add ice cream or fruit to create your unique combination and enjoy a fresh, crispy monaka experience.

The product lineup includes a choice of one-can or two-can sets. Alongside the delicious flavors, the packaging immerses you in the “Japanese Kirby” world, filled with attention to detail and quality.

“Kirby’s Round DIY Monaka” is a hands-on monaka set where customers can assemble the treat by filling the cute Kirby-faced monaka shells with red bean paste to taste. The set includes three different Kirby expressions, and each bite combines the crispy monaka shell with the rich and mellow flavor of the bean paste, offering a comforting, lightly sweet taste.
