GUCCI x HOSOO Collaboration Chapter 3: Japan-Exclusive "GUCCI NISHIJIN"
In collaboration with one of Kyoto’s most historic Nishijin textile houses, Gucci is launching exclusive editions of iconic bags, including the Gucci Bamboo 1947, Gucci Diana, and Gucci Jackie. These Japan-exclusive creations will be available only at select Gucci stores and through Gucci Client Services.
Using HOSOO’s textile techniques with the "Petals" design, these bags feature an intricate blend of Gucci's GG pattern and the brand’s signature Flora print. Motifs such as flowers and dragonflies are meticulously woven, enhanced with real silver foil incorporated into multiple fabric layers. This results in a luxurious textile that shimmers differently depending on the angle.
