The concept line SRL by NEIGHBORHOOD, known for its plant-inspired designs, has teamed up with BANDAI SPIRITS to release the BONSAI MODEL KIT.

This model is inspired by a real Azuma Goyomatsu Bonsai, created by artist Yusuke Hamamoto, and realized using NEIGHBORHOOD’s direction and the latest technology from BANDAI SPIRITS. Perfect for bonsai enthusiasts and model fans alike, this kit allows you to recreate the majestic beauty of a Goyomatsu pine tree in a model format. The realistic details, including bark texture and leaf arrangement, offer a hands-on experience of bonsai artistry.

The kit offers an engaging assembly experience, where users attach individual leaf parts to the trunk and branches, balancing the arrangement. The kit comes with four types of leaf parts, allowing for intricate detailing and customization. To achieve a natural wood texture, resin mixed with wood powder is used for the trunk and branch components, and the detailed bark texture is brought to life with advanced mold technology. The kit also includes lead wire to replicate the traditional bonsai wiring technique, while the moss base is crafted as a single part to display its precise three-dimensional texture.
