Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary Exhibition in Japan
In celebration of Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary, Sanrio is hosting a special exhibition titled “Hello Kitty Exhibition – When I Change, So Does She” at the Tokyo National Museum Hyokeikan. Running from November 1, 2024, to February 24, 2025, this exhibition will showcase the largest collection of Hello Kitty merchandise in history, featuring over 100 pieces from the "Local Hello Kitty" keychain series and rare collaboration items.
The exhibition will also include collaborations with important cultural properties from the museum’s collection, such as the iconic "Beauty Looking Back" painting and the "Wind and Thunder Gods" folding screen. Visitors can expect an immersive experience with special introductions and even a merchandise corner offering exclusive Hello Kitty snacks and accessories.
A variety of adorable, exhibition-exclusive goods will also be available, such as plush toys, mascot keychains, and the unique Mojimoji Hello Kitty Series, available only at this event.
